It is about a sentiment, a nostalgic sense driven by our need of belonging to this great southern land we call home. Duralift, a privately-owned business, was born in December 2008 in the leafy Victorian suburb of Lilydale. It was the brain child of Garth Chippindall who began the business with just 10 machines. In the true spirit of the “Aussie Battler”, Garth persevered through the adversities and commitments that all new Australian businesses go through. As the business slowly began to grow, Garth later acquired Met-X Hire in June 2009. Moving to downtown Croydon South in March 2012, you can still hear the rosellas that inhabit the gum tree at the front of the Head office.
Duralift is a down-to-earth family business that reflects the qualities and values that Garth and his family hold dear. Honesty and integrity are held above all else in their business interactions as they continue to endeavour to treat everyone with fairness and respect.
