As Australia Day approaches we decided to reflect on what it means to be an Australian business.
Being an Australian Business is more than just a triangular green kangaroo Australian Made sticker plastered across your ‘Pink Ladies’. It is about a sentiment, a nostalgic sense driven by our need of belonging to this great southern land we call home. It is an expectation of quality and a reflection of our values from those businesses that claim to be Australian.
Duralift, a privately-owned business, was born in December 2008 in the leafy Victorian suburb of Lilydale. It was the brain child of Garth Chippindall who began the business with just 10 machines. In the true spirit of the “Aussie Battler”, Garth persevered through the adversities and commitments that all new Australian businesses go through. As the business slowly began to grow, Garth later acquired Met-X Hire in June 2009. Moving to downtown Croydon South in March 2012, you can still hear the rosellas that inhabit the gum tree at the front of the Head office.
Duralift is a down-to-earth family business that reflects the qualities and values that Garth and his family hold dear. Honesty and integrity are held above all else in their business interactions as they continue to endeavour to treat everyone with fairness and respect.
This level of good old Aussie values are not often held by larger multinational firms. From the local voice you hear on the phone to the personalised business solutions that you will be offered in every interaction, Duralift is committed to meeting the expectations of each and every customer, big or small.
In a landscape where every Access Hire company claims to offer the same, Duralift continues to set the standards of Service quality in the Access Hire Industry.
We are proud of our Australian roots and strive to exceed your expectations and provide the best Elevated Work Platform solutions to every customer.
Happy Australia Day! We hope you enjoy a cold one!
