Garth started working in the family metal processing business in 1990, learning from the bottom up what it takes to run a business. This business was later sold, and in January 2009, Garth and his brother started up in Access equipment rental. As a result of rapid growth, Castella Group acquired Met-X Access Hire in July 2009 and the fleet has since grown over 500%. Over the years Garth’s experience has grown, as has the company’s, diversifying into the range of industries across Victoria that Duralift services from its Croydon location today. Qualified as a scissor lift and boom lift operator, and service technician, he has extensive knowledge in the field and has grown the family business with some of the most iconic projects in Victoria.

Sharnie joined the Duralift team as another member of the Chippindall family, with the passion that goes along with working with the family business. She is committed to ensuring our customers always achieve the best outcome.
Service & Maintenance Manager
Craig has a long history working in the automotive industry, with over 6 years experience in the access equipment industry, so there isn’t much he doesn’t know in order to get the machines up and running! As a qualified boom lift and scissor lift operator and service technician Craig ensures the equipment is maintained at the highest level to provide utmost customer satisfaction on every job.
With over 15 years in Marketing & Design, and a Master of Marketing, a Bachelor of Visual Communication and a Diploma of Arts, Evaan leads the Marketing team at Duralift. Working closely with the Sales Team, Evaan is dedicated in meeting customer expectations.
Mark looks after Duralift’s transport to ensure customers get the machine they hire on time, when and where they need it. Mark has extensive experience with access machinery transportation to ensure the machines will operate as required when they get to your job site.
